hey i got a tippmann 98c with nothing on it except a 14'' gta sniper barrel that really sucks and i am probally am going to get a drop rt and expansion for x-mas do u know what type of a barrel i should get? i play woods balls. thanks a lot

get a j&j ceramic or if u want something a LITTLE better
go for the lapco bigshot both are nice barrles for nice prices

actually i would have to say probabily a freak barrel by sp

they are dependable but really expensive (full kit w/back & AA front)

either that or go with a pure aa

If you have patience and time it'll be fine. If your just
gonna play a few times a year then get somthign
cheaper. Read about it some more and you'll find out
the problems you're probably hearin about it are just
because somone didnt install it correctly.

Accurate, Loud, Not paint picky=bigshot

Little less accurate then bigshot, little quieter than big shot but still not even close to innoticably quiet, Not paint picky=J&J

More accurate than Bigshot, Quieter than J&J and even the whisper barrel, Not paint picky at all= All American

They make the newer 2 piece models of the All American and they have the 2001 1 piece All Americans.  the 2001 AA's have better ratings than the new ones. And... they are only $23 and the new ones for the back and front are $70.  http://www.firstcallpaintball.com/detail.aspx?ID=508  i hope the choice is clear if u r looking for a barrel.  look for one that fits the 98c

i wouldnt get the flatline.. if i were you i would get a lbaco bigshot or a cp classic barrel or a jand j flatlines to much and you get just as good ratings with one of those other barrels for 1/4 the priice of the flatline
