Dear god why would they do such a thing?

I have yet to see it but I am allready predicting this to be pretty bad.

Futurama ended at the top with quality, not like the Simpsons and Family Guy which have become crappy and dragged on. Both shows made horrible full length movies.

Discuss. If anyone has seen it, i'd like to know opinions.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Futurama, I'll definately be seeing this.

Futurama was classic writing, far more inventive and original than most animated shows out there right now. I'd actually say it was superior to the Simpsons in terms of consistent quality.

Oh, and I don't see how The Simpsons made a horrible full length movie. I thought it was great, and it was pretty much a hit with critics and fans of the show. Personal taste of course, and honestly anything would be great compared to the current state of the show. They need to drop it  while it still has some dignity, before it turns into total garbage.

Ditto. I'm even ranked 20th on the facebook futurama trivia quiz. Its sad really.

My buddy Stash said it was a good movie. I almost bought it in best buy yesterday but the line was 70 miles long so I figured I'd wait a bit.

Generally, I like the opposite movies that the critics do.

The Simpsons movie had the same amount of humor as a normal episode, spread over an hour and a half.

Beleive me, I am the biggest simpsons fan evar. I can recite entire episodes from the older seasons and still watch it 2-3 times per day.

That hardly makes you the biggest simpsons fan ever. Most people I know can do that. Heck, the first time I met my roommate, our conversation was based mostly off of the "I thought I was the only milhouse" dialogue.

No, I just generally don't agree with most of the critics.

1) That was one example
2) I am obviously a bigger simpsons fan than you.
