I'm looking for a new mask and these two cought my eye, but vote NVader if you think the headshield will make me look like a weenie. I'm looking for something around $30 if you have a better suggestion. Edited by X 303 |

JT nvader. in your sig it says tippman 68. You mean a tippmann 98 custom right? If you didnt know that, then your not ready for a new gun.

Theres nothin wrong wit havin and usin an old Tippmann SL-68, actuallly I wish I had one, it would make a great back up fer woodsball....but, back to the topic....get the JT headshield, recieving a ball hit on the noggin is not a very good feeling and it sure beats wearin a rag or a cap on a hot sunny day on the field and its really affordable.

There's something wrong with this one at least. The barrel is kind of small, so I don't get good FPS, the barrel is short for a semi, so I don't get good accuracy, the loader tube is, has, a mind of its own, sometimes it loads fast, sometimes it loads slow, sometimes you have to shake it just to get it to load one, and the hopper holds less than 50 rounds at a time, and the gun won't take a standard viewloader 200. (I have one, and I wish I could use it.)

Yowch! I understand what yer sayin but, hold onto the 68, you might wanna mod it to somethin else, Ive seen tons of pics where people have modded their old 68's into somethin that no one would think it would be possible. Infact, Enos Shenk hes one of the Moderators fer the forum has a Pro-Carbine and he can help you on yer 68. Edited by evil_fingers |

I had a headshield, it was pretty good. I went and got a Dye Proto Switch for 30 on ebay though. The lenses were getting scratched on the JTs, and I couldn't really get them out. |
