Ok, mine suck, need new stuff.
I'm looking into Alpine head Unit and Alpine speakers I'm pretty set on the head unit, but I'm unsure of the speakers. Dropping $120 is not something to take lightly. So, I'm just looking for your thoughts on these things, and suggestions for anything better, without spending more money. |

your best bet is headin to:
www.caraudio.com and head to their message forums, its a tippmann forum for car audio, great people there. really helpful. otherwise, alpine is a great reliable company. i personally prefer kenwood, but i know alot of people that go for alpine. |

I wouldn't get that head. Look for something that has a knob for track selection and another knob for Volume. Thats pretty much what sold me on my Eclipse head unit. I hate having to push a button to put the volume up, or change tracks. Turning a knob is far easier, and more convenient when driving.
But if you're set on the head, thats cool I suppose. |

I have the CD3404. It's their bottom line CD player, but for my needs it suited me well. I'm happy with my selection as it has both knobs as I stated before. This cost me around $180 about 7 months ago or something. |
