Debate time- clark and the rest come play

So i was watching WJLA which is news 7 here in virginia.  The director or the owner (I dont know his status)  of the NAACP was on the news today.  He stated his thoughts on the response time of rescue personnel.  He said and i quote "  The slow response time by relief forces was based completely on race.  If there would have been a majority of white folks there, we wouldn't have a catastophe".

Now i also saw a mother with a baby on her hip on the news complaining that she now has no food, water, clothes, and her car was washed away.  I personally think that if she listened and fled Louisiana instead of trying to sit this one through, this would not be an issue.  Now after stating her needs she blamed the government for not bringing her these supplies.  I call foul play on her part.

The argument was against african-americans, not whites . . .

Although the French Quarter (I think) was not really hit. I think you need to work on your programming skills, you kinda messed up our gas supply and now Bush wont make as much money.  Smooth.

Discuss You're right, The smart people with MEANS to do so fled before the hurricane hit. The thousands that didn't flee are mostly poor people who couldn't afford to get out and miss work

Well its a good thing that they stayed to keep their jobs running smoothly.

You think that the slow relief time was because new orleans is a predonminantly black area?  I think personally that if anythings to blame its the constant looting.  Our forces would be waiting with open arms and food instead of straight faces and M-16s if it werent for the looting.

I think The Guy was being sarcastic...

I'm sure the Mods will allow delicate use of "**edited**ger" in the appropriate context, although I figure The Guy is probably dancing on the line...  Unless he isn't being sarcastic, in which case he's probably gonna get guested.
