This is the before Christmas gun:
After Christmas:
The Upgrades include: E-grip, Low pressure Kit, Aluminum Power tube, Custom Products Shorty Reg, R-5 hopper, Shocktech A-5 Adapter w/ Shocktech Long Drop and Smart Parts on/off Valve. Its not quite done as I hope you can tell. A black to blue fade is to come. The barrel tip will be painted a matching blue. I am going to get the WAS board with an Eclipse DART QEV and a JCS Dual Trigger (even though the current trigger pull is 4-5 mm with set screws). I will also probably get the A-5 to M98 barrel adapter and replace the adapter that is on it right now so I can use my Pipe kit with this gun. I would probably get a new back for the Boomstick so I can use it on both guns. Tell me what you think, keep in mind the future upgrades. Thanks and enjoy. Edited by m98AHA |

I would get HPA before you buy anything else. Co2 is gonna kill that CP reg real fast. It was not designed for use w/ co2. WAS, paintjob, and trigger should come after.

I did a little bit of research on the topic of the CP reg. I talked to a couple of different techs from both Shocktech and CP about their reg (they are the same thing). Both said that the reg would work fine with CO2 just as long as I didn't do anything to allow for liquid CO2 into the gun (ie. point the gun toward the ground and fire). That is why I went ahead with the CP reg, but I am planning on getting a nitrogen tank, probably the new Smart Part Micro reg. I know many of yall don't like SP but I like the new reg. If you haven't seen it, it is a preset reg on a dovetail mount with built in on/off. So I don't have to deal with the whole screw in tank valve adding an inch or two to the length of my setup. It looks nice too and since it will be running through either my CP or Vigilante regs, I don't have to worry about consistency so much. Thanks for the comments, and I should have all of the other upgrades by the end of the school year (May) or middle of the summer. I will probably get the paint job and nitrogen tank first, then for my birthday get the WAS board and JCS trigger (August). |

An anti-siphon CO2 tank would be worth investing in.
