Hi again guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how to install a safety on a tippmann pro lite. There are three parts for the safety: 1. Safety 2. Snap Ring 3. Oring I cant figure out how to install this and it is driving me crazy because I can't play on our field without a working safety. I took the grip frame halves apart but it seems that the oring around the safety is way to big to push in the hole. Are there any tips/tricks on how to get it in there? I know that a snap ring pliers are needed, but thats it. Thanks in advance Edited by padester79 - 21 February 2006 at 8:14pm |

Oil the o-ring up real good with some Hoppe's # 9 oil. You are correct in that it is not easy to push the safety in because of that o-ring. Oil it up good and apply steady even pressure and it will slide in. I found that disassembling the grip frame halves doesn't make it any easier.
Once it is in, install the snap ring and you are done. |
