Does the Chinese government really sketch anyone else out these days.
Most of you are already aware of the crazyness with censoring the internet that they're all stoked about, and I was reading about this the other day: ZOMG So, classics like Marry Poppins are a no-no now, because of the trachery that is actors and animated characters IN THE SAME MOVIE!!!!! Seriously, like, is someone in power there going insane, or do they just drink and make laws? |

The scary part about China is the fact that they're well on their way to becoming more powerful than us, geopolitically speaking. Did anyone hear that crap about them holding military operations in South America? They're taking over where we stopped going because of stupid free trade treaties and their lack of signatures. I wont be supprised if they start working on expanding their boarders a bit sometime this decade. I read an essay on the Sino-Russian Superpower thats forming in Asia a while back. Pretty interesting even though the author used a rather large portion of his paper talking about future conflict between China and Russia, therefore somewhat negating his overall point...Still, pretty scary stuff....
ps I believe there's gonna be a special on the new Rise of China on Discovery Times at like 8pm on the 10th....might check that out.... Edited by .Ryan - 22 March 2006 at 1:04am |

Yeah, historically speaking, we weren't really sleeping back then, we basically pushed Japan into attacking us. But yeah, China definately fits the bill. I'd be doing the same thing though, we're all worried about this other bull crap in Iraq, it's their perfect opportunity to get away with stuff...not to mention we owe them ungodly amounts of money.....But hey, look at is this way, if stuff gets hot with China, at least we've got a good old-fashioned State vs. State war to focus on instead of this stupid terrorist crap...lol....

No we wouldnt go state to state with china.. Their man power would over run us with sheer numbers. What we would do though, is cyber warfare and bombings. An extensive bombing campagne most likely.

Nah, they couldn't get their troops to North America. Any conventional land war would be a stalemate- neither side could get sufficient troops into the other's country.
Take off and nuke the place from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. :P |
