    Posted: 12 June 2006 at 4:04am

Hey, not sure what it is but my 98 stops firing after i shoot off a steady stream of about 8-10 shots. The hammer is still cocked back but wont fire. I would have to pull the hammer just a little way more about a centimeter or two and it enables it to fire off 5-6 shots before having to repreat the process.

I have the push spring sear version for my gun and it looks like I am missing a pin thats in between the bottome of the sear and the back of my trigger. If anyone can get a pic of the inside of a 98c with a push spring sear, please post it up or give me a link. Im thinking that is  my problem but if anyone else has had it and found a way, please let me know. Thanks

He brought up a post concerning it.  It's only considerate to include a link to said topic.

Also I am curious about his question being as that I have the same problem.  I have read countless "won't recock problem" posts most of which are easily explained/remedied due to obvious reasons.  Although I have not been able to resolve the issue he stated.

If you would like to actually be helpful on the forums you could share some of your knowledge.

Makave7 a pic of the pins can be found in the 3D manual sticky in this sub forum.

Hey, lookin at that pic, I could see that I'm missing that one pin in the bottom end end of the sear and the back of the trigger, s i believe i only have 4 pins. Im guessing that might be my problem.
