So I posted a while ago about the 3d web browsers I was looking at. Well, just like the John Stewart stuff, Digg turned me on to this.
Looks pretty cool really. It would rock if combined with some sort of haptic interface and a desk that operates as a touch screen monitor. I have to say though, do we really want to organize our desktop like we do our actual desks? |

It looks like a hideous waste of time. Start > documents or Start > Program files
Or I can get real fancy and browes around through My Computer. Id rather not have to dig through a pile of files to get what I want. If I wanted that, I would put everything on paper and throw it on my desk. |

To make things more confusing? That seems like a smart idea, computer's are supposed to help you organize your stuff, not recreate the pile of papers on your floor. |
