It was truly outstanding. Very fast, but obviously not as zippy as a Corvette or similar. Stopping and cornering was unbelievable - but the main feature is that it drove so amazing while still being comfortable. Most sports cars are (IMO) not particularly comfortable to drive. This one cornered at 50mph in grand luxury. I definitely felt like I was driving a Mercedes. I seriously enjoyed it. Carl - they start at about 100k (US$) |

Insurance on a car like that is better than on something like a cheaper import sports car. Besides, the people that can afford an SL550 or above are old enough to not have insane teenage insurance rates, or really need to worry much about how much their insurance costs. |

I definitely know what you mean about smooth driving. I get to drive my mom's Lexus when I need it right now because my car is going to get fixed. There is definitely a difference between those luxury brands and other brands. |

Other than the slight cost difference, my main problem is that that type of car is generally not particularly comfortable. I can't drive to work every day in a car that gives me a headache. But damn they are nice cars, though. Edited by Rambino - 09 November 2006 at 5:01pm |
