c.o.p.s not eyes. uses a little pin int eh bottom of the chamber to detect the ball, if it doesnt feel one it stops firing.
even if i did have eyes, i shouldnt need them shootin 10 bps with a halo.. either way the shell is red/yellow :( Edited by DsXz - 07 January 2007 at 5:33pm |

could be the weather my man. 50* is right there at the cusp where normal paint gets brittle and winter paint starts becoming useful. is it definitely a chop? is their paint on the bolt? or is it a barrel break? what is your dwell at?

Your dwell is probably too high, same thing happened to me and I turned it down and it stopped.

18 should be good enough. Can you adjust the ram in iR3s? If so, make sure the bolt pin clicks against the back of the hammer. That's all I can say, and if you still have problems go to www.fixmyangel.com and ask in the forums. Bob will fix you up.

Does it need a soft face bolt? Maybe you are getting roll back? |

Poor ram adjustment will cause bad rollback. Rollback in and of itself is not bad, but if the ram is misadjusted it can get messy.

are the batteries in your hopper good? and check the anti chop pin make sure its clean... with that many breaks some times shell will jam it so it feels like it always has a round in.

The bolt in pre G7's has to sit back (not parallel) to the breech. Because of this, when a ball is chambered it "rolls back" until it rests on the face of the bolt. Because of the ball not being centered in the chamber, another ball can partially load. This ball can be clipped by the bolt as it fires the chambered ball. To prevent this problem, the ram must be set to catch the bolt pin on the rear of the hammer. If it's set to catch the front, choppage results. |

If the bolt was a quarter inch longer, it wouldn't fit. Seriously. Check your ram positioning. Also... What's your LPR? Edited by hybrid-sniper - 08 January 2007 at 6:50pm |

Yes you do. The first shot too high thing is generally because the dwell is a little too low, but yours is severe. If you want to fight with it, go to http://www.fixmyangel.com/catalog-product50 and get the one meant for LEDs-05 Spds. This kit includes a ram removal tool, snap ring adjuster (new can of worms that I don't know anything about), LPR extraction tool, and an LPR guage. Honestly though, I would rather send it in to Bob and have him fix it up for you. That way, you aren't buying something and still not knowing what the problem is. He will charge you x number of dollars and he'll send it back to you in good working order and you'll never* have to worry about it again. If you live on the east coast, send it to impact paintball.
