I'd go with the Ion as it is readily available to play woodsball or speedball. It also is able to interchange hoppers with your other guns.

im not big on fire power im perfectly fine with semi auto i just want a quality reliable gun that will be able to take a beating and still perform. Not one that can break down easliy while playin woodsball and i'll be selling my other gun to get this one so changing hoppers wont be an issue. I'm leaning more towards the A-5

Its plastic, and so is the bolt. Which I do not understand.. but you can buy a new bolt for it. The JCS red hot power tube is popular for the Tippmann.

Because plastic is lighter than metal, less succeptable to wear in reciprocating applications, won't rust, won't oxidize, won't contaminate lubricating oils as readily, really doesn't need to be lubricated and ultimately serves no other function than to simply push the ball into the breech of the barrel and channel a broad-flow of gas to the ball. Did that clear it up? |

ION!It's LIGHTER, FASTER, probably just as RELIABLE as a A5, and just like the A5 it's very CUSTMIZABLE. |

I'll say A-5 just because it is less complex than the Ion. Either way their both good

Not my pics:
With the Halo B though, it should be significantly less, the eggy is a very heavy hopper. But the Ion wins in every other catergory. Edited by jerseypaint - 16 April 2007 at 6:07pm |
