I recently bought a Tippmann Cyclone Feed System for my 98 Custom Pro ACT/E-Grip. I screwed the tube in and I slid the pins on the vertical adapter into the gun hopper hinge holes. The problem came when I tried to click the hopper into place on the front sight. It won't click into place and there seems to be something preventing it from doing so. I tried using force and that just resulted in scratches on my gun. If anyone knows why I can't snap the Cyclone Feed System into place, please feel free to respond. :)

There is a receiver bolt on the left side near the barrel that holds a spring which moves the latch into place to hold the feedneck . If you have this bolt too tight, it does not allow the latch to move properly. Loosen this bolt slightly and it should work.
As an FYI, the receiver bolts do not have to be gorilla'd into place. A simple snug tightening will do. Over tightening can actually cause a couple of other issues as well. If you still have your manual, read it and go over some basics. If you don't have one, go to www.tippmannparts.com and find the one for your marker. Lot's of good info in the manual.

I already tried doing this but it didn't fix the problem. The issue I'm having is that the metal latch on the feeder that snaps into the front sight is not reaching far enough over the gun so it can click into place. I'm trying to push it over but I'm risking breaking the feeder. Thank you oldpbnoob for the intelligent response by the way.

As you can see, the latch on the feeder doesn't go all the way over the gun and therefore won't click into the front sight.

I found the solution. I shaved some plastic off on the feeder elbow that comes in contact with the side of the gun and now the latch snaps into place. Thank you for your help. :)
