I got a 4 year old A-5 from a friend of mine. I completely stripped it down, and cleaned it. When I got it all put back together, i couldn't cock it. I took it back apart, and reassembled it two more times, but still couldn't get the hammer to come back. Any suggestions??

Take it apart again and make sure all the parts are in correctly.

Sounds like you forgot something. I'm thinking the linkage arm, guide pin. One of those 2 is missing or put in wrong.

Make sure you aren't gorilla ing the receiver screws. They only need to be finger tight.

By chance did you accidentally flip the front bolt?

The end the bolt link goes in should be facing back, and the oring on
the bolt facing forward (to the barrel).
