Oh, we aren't doing anything for valentines. I'll be on campus all day, which is equal parts responsible academics, and dodging her. But she and I both always felt that valentines was B.S.

When I'm dating someone, I hate valentines because I'm expected to get out to a crowded restaurant / theater with a bunch of other couples and buy some kind of BS gift, just to get something I've been getting for a time anyway.
When I'm single, it's just a reminder that I'm not getting any tonight. Go to hell Valentine's Day. |

Keeping her expectations low, good man. Valentines day '09 scarred me for life. That was my first day washing dishes at the Brooklyn Bridge restaurant, my first day working in a kitchen in general and we were reservation only. The place was packed all night and we didn't leave til after midnight.  |

My girl's opposed to me spending money on her (not complaining), so I made her a card, I'm cooking her dinner, and the grand finale would be bringing the air mattress outside by the bonfire and watching a movie on my laptop. 100% of the time it works every time.
