Just saw the passion......

So I just saw the passion, and words can't really explain how I feel.  It's kind of mixed, I guess.  I don't really see how anyone could see that movie and understand it(because theres alot in it that if you don't understand the bible well, you wont understand) couldn't pronounce Christ as their lord and savior.  That movie was so powerful.  I never really thought about what he went through for me.  And everyone on this forum right now. 

I realized I am probably going to be flamed for this, because anytime you stand for something you believe on this forum, your flamed.  But I just wanted to voice my opinion.  Feel free to voice yours.

I won't flame you.  I'm a Jesus freak myself.  I loved that movie and have it on my computer.  I'm really glad that Mel came out and did that.

Yea, actually my father is a baptist preacher.  And I've grown up with the bible all my life.

Thats why I was saying if you don't know a decent amount about the bible then you miss out on alot in that movie.  So many analogies.

I haven't seen it yet, but yes he DID go through alot for all of us and lots of people act like they don't really give a care that he did that  much for them... Really sad.

You're missing out on alot.  It was a good movie even if you don't like the Bible and stuff...

Don't watch if your not going to give it a chance.  But any atheist or unbeliever that gives it a chance, will definently question their beliefs after watching it.

i think its cool (havent seen movie, but read bible) when the soldiers walk to him in the garden and ask if he is Jesus, and he sayd, "I am" and just him saying it knocks the soldiers down. imagine what will happen during judgement in the tribulation, i nthe end when all of the world attacks Israel and Jesus comes down and speaks and they all instantly die, and the bllod "will be as high as a horses bridle."

it just shows you the power of God.

Try watching the movie and see if you don't feel guilty.

I made him go through every single minute of it.  He didn't just do it for me.  He did it for everyone.  Including you Prodigy.

He's not forcing anyone to believe in him.  Thats your choice nad he leaves it up to you.  But I'm guessing since you felt guilty hes already dealt with your heart.  I know it sure touched mine.

keep in mind that it was a holly wood movie and the realy story was probibly a bit less heroric... havnt seen it though

i also dont think jesus has any signifigance

but i dont really know the story or anything... even though my mom was a pasture for awhile (luthern) so was my grandpa
