Ive been working on this thing for a few months. Im so sick of everyone
thinking the Carbine is a slow newbie gun, and other people complaining
that it doesnt have uber upgrades like the ebolt or RT.
Think again. First official test run of the Carbine Overdrive system. Its pretty much prototype, but it certainly does work. No gripframe stuff yet (need some parts and tools), but the little Clippard valve to test it with works good. According to my audio, i was ripping 10bps with the little pushbutton valve with my thumb. Eat that, naysayers. Video here: http://www.paintballchat.net/overdrive_benchtest.avi The video is DivX encoded, so if you dont see any video, go to http://www.divx.com and get the free codec. Entirely pneumatic. Batteries are for suckers. Edited by Enos Shenk |

DANG looks like it be cool you really ota hook up with tompson shooter
to put something like that into his milsims that be awsome.
Might be a good idea to send a email or something of that sort to Tippmann. Maybe they'l buy it like the did with the 98c Ebolt. Hopefully something like this will shine some more light on the semi forgoton tippy. Thinking about it that be perfect for a reincarnated tippmann F/A . But my Carbine is fast enough with just a lighter trigger any faster and i wont beable to afford to fed it . |

So your planning on placing the "clicker" thing into a grip frame? Sounds pretty cool.
But was it doing the 10bps there? |

No, the final version will have a custom made tiny valve on a bracket inside the frame. It will mount on the freed up sear pins. As for how much, no idea. Nothing promised at all on ever seeing it for sale until after the 12th. |

Man with your history of Mods on Carbine series, I can bet this is gonna be SWEET. Dial-up stinks..........the phone company here in Toilet-ville, IL is still under a rock. The video downloads 22% in 6-9 min. then shuts down. Can't wait to see it in action. Edited by waarp8nt |
