Stock 98c > Stock A-5.
The 98c will cost more to use effectively seeing as you need to buy an electronic hopper, plus if you want to buy the E-Bolt it will cost like twice as much as the E-grip. |

^^^ then why did you say the stock 98c is better than the stock a5? anyways A-5 all the way, when it comes to christmas get a good barrel and e-grip if you are not planning on getting a x-chamber, 2x trigger or hpa |

I like the 98c more they the a5, it all personal preferance. To me buying a new hopper and not having a huge ugly 'cyclone feed system' on the side on my gun is worth it. |

ive held both and love the 98c compared to the A-5. i bought the 98c over it too. its a great gun with many many upgrades that you can get for it. i would say get the 98c with flatline. then for christmas ask for : expansion chamber new hopper E-Bolt or R/T then double trigger. that gun would be great for paintball. awesome gun the 98c is. i would say try both out at a field or try a friends gun. then see what you like better. good luck on your decision. |

No, with the exception of the expansion chamber, there is nothing usefull on that marker. The barrel is too long, and the drop forward is not very usefull on a woodsball marker, which the 98 is best for. The expansion chamber is the first most important mod you want, if you stick with CO2. It has large chambers in the path of the gas, that gives the CO2 opportunity to expand into gas, keeping the liquid out of the marker. Which results in much more consistent shooting. The A-5 costs the same as a M98 with a good hopper. Hoppers?? there are three kinds. Gravity Balls just fall into the feed tube. Stirring... Paddles keep the balls from getting caught up, still gravity fed. (Revvy, or Reloader) Force fed. The balls are shoved down the feed tube. (Halo B, Reloader B, or Egg) The A-5 comes with one of the best force fed hoppers made built in. The Flat line for the A-5 is easier to set up, looks better, and lasts longer than the 98 version. So, if what you want is a fast shooting flatline, go for the A-5 Edited by Kevin Z |

A-5... Guys why are you saying better upgrades.... Okay maybe the
E-grip is better and the Flatline is too but most of the other upgrades
are the same. Yes the A-5 is a better gun, and it also does have more
Milsim ups if thats what your saying.

Hey, what kind of paintball do you play (woods vs. Speedball)? How often have you played? Where do you play? How many PB Parks are near you that you may play? What type of fields do they have? Do you like to shoot alot and fast? Do you move alot? How big are you? Answer all those and give us an idea of how to equip you. |
