I'm a rec baller-i stick to urban combat in the sheds on my property-sick combat at its best

I like to modify my A-5 by hand-minimal factory upgrades-flatline only, definately worth it

I don't have a machine shop or anything-I stick to tape, wire, and luck

I built a push button tac-lite for my A-5 (if you want instructions, let me know), mounted a red dot hunting sight, and I was bored, so i stripped the trigger of my gun (easy thanks to the pins)...taking a look at the trigger mechanism, i quickly figured out how to modify the sear to make the gun a full auto (all you need is a toothpick believe it or not)...problem is, my rate of fire is far to incredibly high to be of any use (60 rounds a seconds-means almost two cases in a minute--burns through a little 12 oz in less than 5 minutes of sporadic bursts) and yes, 60bps does outshoot the cyclone...

Anyone got ideas for more mods? AND!, anyone got any advice on how to slow down the rate of fire to keep it from making a mess in my cyclone/action?

im half amish and i cant figure out how to post a pic from my hard drive-help?

bravecoward-whats a pen spring gonna do?

i don't care about lighter trigger pull-isnt that what the new spring does?

theres no real chance of harming the gun-its well built and the only mod is a piece of toothpick-not even a cm long

i can switch it back in less than a minute (love those pins)

goodnight

Theres no problem at all with the toothpick!!! The
toothpick works fine, the sear works fine, BUT the
action cycles way to fast for the cyclone
I need advice on how to slow the action down or
speed the feeder up-no advice on the sear or trigger

I thought about this for a sec, and I bet he just put a piece of toothpick between the front of the sear notch and the pin, so when he holds the trigger down it also holds the sear down so the bolt never engages the sear, so it goes auto. Then when he lets go of the trigger, the sear is released and catches the bolt. whenever he pulls the trigger it goes auto, and when he lets go, it stops, so it is pretty much an auto A5.Big smile

Klaus, if that is how you did it, its a very smart idea, congrats. and no, it probibly wont hurt the gun, except fill it with paint. Like you said, I wonder if you could slow down the cycle rate, cause that would be awsome! Also, i dont think the cycle rate of an A5 would be as high as 60 bps, but its probibly still shooting at about 35 bps, or a little more.Clap

If you mix graphite and regular liquid lube, it will make a kind of sludge that will slow the bolt down.

But its really dumb and not safe to go full auto anyway.

you will ruin your gun like this... like you said it is cycling faster than the gun can feed and the internals aren't meant to cycle at this speed for any length of time.  there is no way of feeding paint into the gun fast enough.  take the piece of toothpick out of your gun and learn to shoot faster.  get the r/t or e-grip.  there is a constant flow of posts like this with newbs who think its cool.  if you want to break your gun... go ahead and keep it up.
