   When I created that thread at ten or so last night, the last thing I 

expected was the type of posts that followed - thoughtful, kind, and 

sincere.  Even those of you who don't support homosexuality either kept 

it to yourself (for the most part) or acted in an extremely mature manner.

I underestimated the forum - I expected rude, immature quips and 

thoughtless put-downs...  I got very much the opposite.

It didn't even occur to me that the posts would be so overwhelmingly 

helpful and understanding, and I almost wish they hadn't been, because it 

makes it really hard to tell you guys that it was a prank.

I'm not **edited**.

It was to be my ultimate prank - possibly even my final prank.  

I worry, though, that I took it too far and it wasn't funny but rather sick 

and cruel (even by my standards).

I'm sincerely impressed, guys.  And even if this has made you lose some 

(or all) of the respect that you so readily threw my way, I've gained a new 

respect for all of you.

So ....  April Fools...?!
