no one can really say rap as a whole is not music, though some is closer to spoken word than music, i personally dont listen to it for pleasure, though i have been know to do so during lifting or exceriseing(no idea how to spell that)

I love rap. IMO, Rap is some of the best music. The underground rap is
great, i hate the commerical rap, you know, the ones rappin about dubs,
and girls and that crap.

A different kind of skill and talent yes, but talent none the less...
