No, normally keyboards like to chew their batteries, savoring the acid as it tingles in their mouth. They will then casually swallow, allowing for at least 4 hours to digest. They rarely need to snack in between, so if it really is eating your batteries left right and centre, have it put down and try to find another.

I have the same keyboard and mouse. Yes they eat alot of batteries. Extra rechargable batteries for my keyboard and alternate them between the keyboard and mouse to keep them charged. P.S. It's called the Logitech Wireless Elite keyboard Edited by Psyrecx |

brother has same keyboard and his batts last about a month or more and
hes a hardcore gamer we use reacharge able rayovacs' the are awsome i
use em in my mouse not my keyboard i only charged them 3 times
since x-mas

Ive had my wireless microsoft keyboard and mouse, ive only changed the batteries in the keyboard once and the mouse twice since august 2004.
