...sucked. My body realized so quickly that blood was being lost (my fluids flowed faster into the bag than they were supposed to) that I turned pale because of my body's efforts to keep blood in my major organs. I nearly threw up and had to go to the school clinic afterward because I could barely stand. As another low blow they threw away the half bag I managed to give claiming that it was "not enough" even though one bag can save up to 3 lives. Also, nobody realizes my generosity for trying to give blood and they all think I'm a wimp because my body couldn't handle doing it for the first time. Of course they have no right to say such things because they were too afraid to sign up but still I am given a poor reputation besides my efforts to help.
