I went to a tourney the other day with my A-5 and we got creamed... 8th place wasn't bad, but I really loved the experience...

I posted here for a reason...

I am saving up for a Shocker Sft Vision 05'

I need reviews on the following:

Sound: Is it loud, or is it quiet?

Performance: Advertised 20+ bps... Out of box?

Weight: I heard it is 1.6 lbs out of box...

Chops: I heard SFT Vision has 0% chops

I posted in this forum because Smart Parts apparently doesn't have a forum...

Try to look at a Evil PIMP on ebay, there are some going for only $600, and there just as fast as a Shocker, but you wont have to tweak with the pimp nearly as much as the Shocker.

There are better guns for the price.
Look at the ICD freestyle. Its as light  as teh shocker, as fast as the shocker, has better eyes, and it more reliable.

SFT's come with Vision right?

If so, it is pretty much impossible to get 0 chops on it, because the eyes are reflective. Throw some dark, dull paint in there and it will likely have problems.

If you do buy the Shocker, it probably wouldn't hurt to buy a WAS board or something along those lines. Then, chops are basically impossible.

Actually, on PbN, you see people selling Pimps they won in tournaments, new in their boxes, for $450. Good guns, great price.

Shocker eyes are break-beam. They'll take any color paint.

And deffinately DO NOT get a 'cocker. The simple truth is that 'cockers with E-frames aren't nearly as good as other electros. First of all, they have a whole huge crapload of reciprocating mass, which affects accuracy, causes bouncing, and is caused by a backblock with moves about an inch back to re-cocker, meaning you can't have your face up next to the gun like other electros. If you're really interested in a 'cocker, check out a fastblack(by Doc Nickel-Doc's Machine), the Turtle 'cocker(don't have a link, check google. I don't like them, they're ugly and expensive), or the Fireball Mountain(also known as FBM) Half-...well, for lack of a better word "butt". Check out FBM Factory). They don't have as much mass back there, and no back block in the back, it's more like a mid-block, however, this means it doesn't come back and hit you.
