I'm grunge.  I'm dead.  Therefore grunge is dead.

*>Kurt Cobain

I've got a friend who has a huge picture of him on the front of her binder. Obsession...

Not a big fan of grunge in general, but Nirvana was OK, and Foo Fighters are pretty good. Then again, I listen to music the same way I eat-try some of everything.

I don't get why everyone regards them as like the best band ever.

Pearl Jam is/was a much better band in my opinion, I like the Foo Fighters, from what I've heard, never really got into them, same with Soundgarden, except from a bit of what I heard from Temple of the Dog.

I never understood what w as so amazing about Nirvana... But now Kurt Cobain some sort of Martyr for killing himself.

Sound Garden isnt a band anymore. Alice and Chains is done now that Layne is dead, and Pearl Jam, who knows where they are....

Sure they were great in their hay-day but the music has moved on.

^Grunge bands.

I used be a big fan of the Foo Fighters, but got out of them. I might have to pick up the new cd just to check it out.

Pearl Jam is working on their newest album, and having broken away from their record label, we shall see how it works out.

Not quite sure what you mean by them pulling a Metallica, as they are still rocking as hard as in 1991.
