I have been having too much CO2 coming out of my barrel. I have an expansion chamber on though. It was just doing this today for some reason, not sure if it is the weather,( it was very warm and raining), or if it is a gun problem. Please replay if you can help!

The air always comes out of the barrel, that's where it's supposed to go.
The "white clouds" usually happen when you use a recently filled co2 tank. |

i had that happen to me before too. it didnt last the whole game though. the clouds are formed by liquid CO2 entering the gun. try getting your co2 tank anti-syphoned or an expansion chamber. i think a regulator would work too but im not sure about that. |

^ he said he has an expansion chamber. This has happend to me also. Since you have an expansion chamber there is not a whole lot you can do. Besides getting your tank anti-siphoned. It should stop creating these clouds eventually. If all else fails you could switch to HPA.

Also, the air around you has an affect as well. The rain may be helping the clouds to be more visible.

If I were you, I would stop wasting time/money and just buy an HPA tank.

Rain = humidity = CO2 clouds. Nothing bad is happening, no harm...etc.

but if you but an HPA tank, don't you have to buy a low pressure system also, that's adding up to a lot of money...

no. steps to using HPA tank 1)buy HPA tank 2)fill HPA tank 3)screw HPA tank unto Tippmann 4)shoot Tippmann That's a common misconception people have. A Tippmann can accept any HPA tank. Just screw it into the ASA. The Low Pressure Kit is only to make your gun more efficient and run on a lower amount of air. |

No, Tippmanns in general need a tank with an 800 psi output or more. TH1 WILL argue with me on this, but wutevas Edited by hybrid-sniper |

Contrary to other comments, your experience has nothing to do with lack of a siphon or a just-filled CO2 bottle. Your marker is not shooting out excessive CO2. What is happening is caused by the extremely high humidity when playing in warm rain. The cold blast of CO2, which is normal, coming out of the end of the barrel is causing condensation of the humidity in the air...creating fog. It is just the temperature difference. Just like the frosty fog your breath creates on a cold day...except in frosty-breath case you are blowing humid gas into a cold environment rather than cold gas into a humid environment. Chemistry major here and the white cloud is the very low temperature of the CO2 actually freezing the water in the air... rain/humidity only makes the cloud more visible... it is the exact same effect as the CO2 fire extinguishers, big white cloud.

Trust me, play in the rain, clouds are MASSIVE. Easy to tell where they are that way.
So yeah, trust us, and dont worry about it, just have fun playing. |

the clouds will be more visible because of high humidity.
The colder rush of air, forces the humidy to condense. |
