I just got my 98C and I was wondering what are the first things I have to do before playing with it? Also I compared my gun to my friends and I have this weird remote kind of thing on the right side of the gun... is this normal? And why did my gun come with an R/T kit Installation Instructions when I didnt order R/T?

I wouldent complain, RT is sweet if you tweak it properly their is no use for a dubble trigger or anything.  But the first things you'll need is a Barrel, Hopper, HPA and a good mask/clothing and I find knee pads are a must, Right now I have my knee raped in guaze because I slid on them too much and they were shot...It sucks.

Cock the marker, screw in the tank, and then apply pressure to the trigger, from there you should know, either that or the RT line running across the right side of your marker.

Sweet, Well I just tweaked mine and its sweet.  Allright you should of got a baggie with tools and such, Amongst those tools you should have a julers screw driver, Follow the line on the right side of the gun untill it gets to the Butt of the gun, You will see a silver thing that sticks out and the tube goes into the gun, on the silver thing their is like a screw and you should screw it in all the way, pull the trigger and you will notice the piston will not let you pull again (Its funny to do it to a freind and he gets on field and can only shoot once =P) and then unscrew it slowly, like a half turn untill you can hit the sweet spot nicely (Pull the trigger untill it bounces off your finger and the piston behind the trigger) and once you get to where you like it, tweak it with quarter turns and so fourth. You need a pretty good amount of CO2 or Air to do so.  I hope this helps.

It uses extra gas to bounce the trigger back faster giving the gun a fully automatic feel though is illegal in most tournaments.  (good somewhat professional description huh)
Tippmann A-5
Psycho Ballistics Double Trigger
A-5 E-Grip (tweaked and resoldered)
Lapco Bigshot 12 inch Barrel

When adjusted per the instructions it is a fully automatic-only trigger and illegal on some fields and in most tournaments.

Play with it stock a few months until thinking about buying any upgrades. It seems one upgrade is a must for you since you have a r/t though, a new hopper. Your gravity fed hopper will not be able to keep up with the r/t. You need an electric one. I suggest getting a VL Revolution, it should keep up. Other then that, just go out and have fun with it.

My revvy is fast enough for me. I don't need to shoot 18 bps, 13 is enough for me. It depends on how fast you want to shoot, when deciding what hopper to get.
