Wait, wait. Those aren't mine. I was saying I aspire to  be like them. I see them as successful people. What is wrong with wanting to be successful? And what is wrong with liking things as long as you have an appreciation for them and work for them?

Many people see wealth as A sign of success. Not the only kind of success. And I said possessions aren't the only important things. They are nice and they give many people dreams and drive them to work harder. No harm in that. Better than not wanting something and doing a piss-poor job because you have nothing driving you.

EDIT:

I know money doesn't make you happy but it does help. If you don't have to worry about putting food on the table, it certaintly makes life easier. I like things, yes, but so does everybody. And last, I say there are many more problems with being poor than rich.

Examples:

Poor person problems
Will I have be able to pay off my (house, car, etc)?
Can I put food on the table?
Can I pay for my kids to go to college?

Rich person problems
Where can we go for vacation?

I don't want to be super rich but I want a good life, a good family, and not have to worry about certain things.
