My day was good for a whole 10 minutes. After waking up I answer the
phone and my one of my cousins was asking me for a ride into Halifax. I
had no clue why he would be asking me this. Then he informs me that my
other cousin Nick was in the hospital.
Apparently he was run over by a car. His brain is swollen up and 50% chance of surviving. I can flip a coin and see if he lives or dies. I remember when I was young he was my hero. I used to spend a few weeks of the summer staying with him. He taught me everything I know about mountain biking. I still have fond memories of him taking me along with his friends for some riding in the woods. Right now I really don't know what to do with myself. I feel pretty useless. So I came on here. His home computer is still turned on and he is even logged onto his Instant Messenger. If you believe in any kind of God, please pray for him. You can see some of his photographs at www.nickvail.com. im really sorry to hear about that, my friends brother recently went to hospital and could die after being in a fight from trying to stop a stranger getting beaten by her boyfriend. It sucks when things like this happen, ur cousin shall be in my prayers tonight.
