have a 98 custom with lots of ups (check the sig) and I am
thinking about upgrading to a Shocker. I need more opinions on this.

why do you need the shocker? If you're happy with the 98 than keep it.

You can't compare the two. Ones only like 150, the other is 700.
I wouldn't get a shocker though, too many problems if you dont know how to take care of it. |

^^ exactly...how can you compare a Shocker with a Tippmann...anyways if you are gonna by a high end marker make sure you ask the pro shop or wherever to show you careful instuctions of how to take care of it

omg. shockers are wonderful markers. if you are getting into
tournaments and need a better gun a shocker is really nice.
personaly i dont really like the 03 vision shockers too much but i love
ton tons. although they are a bit more pricey. i'd also consider
a proto, defiant 2, even an ion with ups.

Definetly shocker. Freestyles are pretty nice too, but I believe they're a little more.

I don't like shockers myself and would much rather have a proto or freestyle, but you can't even try to compare a 98c with one, go for the shocker.

Im happy with my 98c its awsome if you get the WAS board to fit (you will need to mill it) it will got the fastest youll need it to go.

dude shockers are great markers especially the octane shockers so i say go with the shocker but its ur choice in the long run
