68/4500 is the average size tank. But it really depends on how many shots per tank you're looking to get. But I'd do like Peachey said on the ups, new trigger, feedneck, and QEV.

Alright, after you figure out what tank to go for (I'd suggest a 68ci, 4500 psi tank) Then get a Quick Exhaust Valve (QEV), a clamping feedneck, and a Custom Products regulator. I think that will come to more than $133, but you can easily save up the extra.

68/4500 would probably be the smallest tank I'd get.  QEV(better efficiency) first then a reg. when you have the money.

A new blade trigger would be nice but with the new tournament based guns I just don't think that it's necessary.  Ramping makes it so easy to shoot fast and with full auto I think a trigger upgrade isn't as important as it was when ramping/full auto boards were "illegal"

Tank

qev

feedneck

reg.

trigger

He lives in the UK, they don't have full auto on the Euro boards. So I'd suggest to get a good trigger.

I actually think the stock trigger is really nice. I shot my friends Ion the other day on the field and with the factory settings, I probably got up to 10-13 bps. I think a clamping feedneck, QEV, and a reg are the most important ups after the tank.

A QEV(quick exhaust valve) is a must for any ion owner. It will wneable you to be able to shoot quicker(although not over the board limit), lower your operating pressure, will lenthen the life of your noid, and will give you more shots per tank

Well, if you think you could make it up to 17bps, I recommend the Evolution 2. If you think you won't top 12 bps, go with the Revolution with the X-board. Those are my 2 favorite hoppers.

Revvy = $50 (at my proshop.)

Egg = $70 (at my proshop.)
