Girlfriend Institutionalized...

I'll set this story up a bit so everyone doesn't get too confused.
On Tuesday, me and my girlfriend skipped school. We went back to my house and "hung out" for a few hours, then went to the mall. While we were at my house, she called her friend James, and told him that she was skipping with me and that she had smoked some good weed, but not to tell her other friend Dan.
Well, James apparently told Dan (who was also skipping school and smoking weed). Dan called her mom, and narc'd us out.
So we both got yelled at, and got Saturday school; she also got grounded.
Bad enough, right?

Apparently not.
Her parents called the cops, who sent her to a psychologist (she couldn't be arrested since she's only 16), who determined that the reason she smoked weed was because she's depressed.
So he sent her to HavenWyck Mental Institution/Drug Rehab Hospital... I have no idea when she's getting out.
I thought she was kidding when she told me; it's fricking ridiculous.
Granted, she shouldn't have been smoking weed (not from a legal aspect anyways), but that is NOT grounds to send her to a mental institution.

Well, she told me she used to be extremely depressed, but that now she's a lot better.
The reason the doctor thought she's still depressed is that she has a cut on her arm, and her mom told them it was self mutilation, even though it wasn't.

Yes, her mom and stepdad are pricks.

Lies! I'm still on a 3-year probation period due to my being really stupid at the mere age of 13. I had 4 felony charges pressed on me, and 2 non-felony charges, all convicted except one non-felony.

Maybe it's different for felonies.
Where I live, the cops don't arrest people 16 or under. Then again, we're all just smoking weed, not doing all kinds of felonies.

They sent her away Friday, and she was supposed to get evaluated to see how long she should stay.
If she's not back in school by tomorrow, I'm going to drive up there and see if I can visit.
If not, I'm going to throw a bloody fit.

I'm still pretty much pissed as hell.

Well maybe there are some things that happened in her life that you dont know about.
