They're both great markers. If you play a lot of speedball then I'd have to say get the 98c, while if you play a lot of woods get the A-5. It's not that you can't use the A-5 for speed, or the 98c for woods; I'm basicly telling you what I would want to use. Go out and try em' both. Some people just like the fee of one over the other. |

Carbine is better for guys with time on their hands, I think. The A5 is a better gun, hands down. it's easier to field strip, it takes the E-Grip, and the cyclone feed (i hear) is great.

the a-5 is built for speed. and susuki u are asowome but i have to disagree with you ther, the 98c not great for speed ball at all, it is a renatal marker for woods. the 98c is a asoome gun but personaly i like the a-5
