I am SOO confused

Okay, I looked into selling my Xbox on craigslist.  Basically, I found someone that was willing to pay $250.  That person is in Nigeria.  He claims that it is a gift, and that he'd cover shipping on his account.  I recieved a document over email from him, and it is a shipping label.  Here it is w/ my name and his blacked out.  Basically, he told me that once he recieves the package I'll get paid by way of USPS money order.  I am a noob at shipping, and my initial reaction was that this is a scam.  I need the $250 bad, and as all the other offers are ppl lowballing me, I'd prefer to sell it to this guy.  But I am nervous.  If anyone can confirm that this looks legit and what happens during this process that would help me out SOOO much.

Wait, once he receives the package he sends the money? Dear lord you must be dumb. And it's from Nigeria. Red flag right there.

And you can buy an XBox from Gamestop for 129 used with a game, why would be pay almost double that?

Okay, I'm not dumb I'm just desperate.  Many people have recommended me not to even bother with anything from Nigeria.  That was also a red flag for me, but I'm not that judgemental.  The biggest thing was why would someone in Nigeria be looking on a DC Craiglist? 

Anyway, I was just seeing if anyone could make any sense of that or the process.  I wasn't asking to be called dumb.  I haven't shipped it yet, just wanted advice, no need to criticize.

I've heard a TON of reports about people in African countries scamming people online, especially Nigeria. I guess there's a lot of difficulty going after them there. Don't trust it.

that,my payment for your item has been approved
and i guess they must have contacted you as well.

All you got to do now is to get the package ready for shipping, i
will be sending you a fedex pre-paid shipping label which you will
affix on the package before its picked up from you, but before then i
will like to know the lbs (weight) of the item so that this can assit
me in sending the label to you.

from you today or better still you can drop it off at the nearest

This is how it works, as soon as i make the payment, they will contact you and as soon as its approved .  I think its safe and secured  because, once payment is approved,it gives you the opportunity to monitor the payment details directly from their website and it for sure that the  seller or whoever thats involve will definately receive the money order and thats why it takes them hours to approve after pending.  I am buying the item for someone who will be celebrating his birthday this next weekin Africa and i intend to take him by suprise this time , to this end, as soon as my payment is approved by (USPS) United State Postal Money Order, i will like to ship the item  imediately through My Fed-ex account  so as to meet up with his birthday date. As for the shipping, you dont have to pay a dime for it cos i will be responsible for the shipping to destination. Upon approval of payment, i will send you a fed-ex prepaid shipping label to you which you will need for the shipping of the package. I will like to read from you if this is okay by you.

Oh wow! LOL i just re-read one of his posts and it said that I would get an email from USPS about the xbox.  And I did, and it said send the tracking number in order to recieve payment.  I emailed USPS back with the tracking number and if I get the money order then I'll be happy.  Keep discussing tho.
