Hey all! Newbie reporting in. I have been paintballing now for about 3 weeks. I bought my first gun the day I started as I fell in love with the sport. I bought a used Spyder Aggressor XT for 20 bucks as it had some issues. $4.37 later and some new rings it worked flawlessly. Then I decided that I wanted to upgrade so I bought an A-5 earlier this evening and bought the Double finger trigger. No E-grips or response triggers for me...I did 4 years in the Marines firing one good shot at a time. So, hope you all like. I painted the Spyder the 3rd day I had it and that is what you see here. I painted my mask the same day. |

First off: Welcome fellow "new-to-the-forum" person, and also, welcome to paintball (it ain't your momma's airsoft game!) Second, nice-looking markers. Interesting paintjob on your mask. Tell 'em what's gonna happen before you even walk on the field.

Thank you all... I plan on getting a barrel as I can get them at wholesale. I play woodsball and am thinking of a flatline but have not made up my mind. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. |

I like the Flatline, but it is more for long-range surpresion fire than accuracy. If you are looking for accuracy I would suggest a Lapco Bigshot, or a barrel kit.

LOL...it was the top of a sucker of some sort...don't ask. Yes, I as well remember those as well...remember the T-shirt disks? You got them wet and it was a t-shirt? You couldn't ever get the wrinkles out but they were cool. I think Virgin Music had them at one point! I was thinking of going with the 14 inch Bigshot from Lapco. Anyone have this barrel? Can I get some pros and cons? Any other companies I should check out? |

J&J ceramic barrel. one of the best for the money. only 30$. if you somehow manage to chop a ball, just shoot through it. self cleaning. plus, its accurate. i remember those shirts, and i was at academy once and i saw the same things, except they were boxers. i should have bought them. |

After reading some info on the JJ, it seems pretty sweet. I am looking for accuracy and silence. Hmmmm...I have a decision to make now.
