anti-siphon

I have just purchased a black vision impulse with freak insert, and vertical reg

i purchased a VL revolution for the gun

i am searching for the cheapest HPA tank possible for it, since i am already stretching my budget

another option is to get an anti-siphon Co2 tank....I already own four regular Co2 tanks......my question is: is it possible to put an anti-siphon system onto a regualr Co2 tank, or do you have to buy a new tank with that already installed?

Actually, CO2 can work on all Smart Parts guns, they say so themselves.  It isnt recommended however, for obvious reasons.

with about $12 in parts from the local hardware store you could have everything you need for an anti siphon for all the tanks you already have, and they work wonderfully!! as for how to do it, otter customs had a good article on A/S instilation

HPA is awsome in every way shape and form, but if you need anti-siphon co2 KILLS normal co2.


Use anti siphon, do not use normal co2.

Yeah, for those cold days, you definitly dont want the liquid Co2 getting into your gun, it really messes stuff up.

i climbed up into my closet last night and found some stuff to sell on ebay so that will boost my funds lol

once that hydro date runs out, your tank is just a dud, or you can get it re-hyroed?

i bought a 48cu/3000psi tank in 05(new on ebay for $85 and it doesnt have to be rehydroed til 09, pretty much the best deal i got paintball wise*besides 2 ebolt rams for $40, i think thats the best.

Many people dont re-hydro test just because if whoever tests their tank deems it unsafe they just wasted 30 bucks that could have been used on their new tank.

 

And can anyone show me where I can find this anti siphon info?

If there is no visible physical damage, it is not usual that they will be rejected. The testing stations I have used do not sell tanks, so there is no incentive to fail one un-necessarily. Most undamaged tanks are going to make it 10 years which is 2 to 3 hydro-tests.

And as I said, the risk of failure is low...and $30 is a rather small investment (about the price of all day air and play on most fields) particularly when the price of a new tank will be 3 to 7 times that fee.
