So, I got pulled over.....

But this was seriously shady...So, I'm on my way to school. Goin up 159 into Chillicothe and the trooper that had been following me flipped on his lights. I pull over and sit there while he runs my tags. He walks up and tells me I was doing 58 in a 55....I do the whole bs apologies and excuses and whatnot and then he comments on how my political magnet things on the back of my car are "cute"....I asked him "what?" and he's like, "Don't like our soldiers do ya boy?". I was sorta dumbfounded so I kinda stuttered the beginings of a rebuttle but he walked back to his car...He comes back like a full five minutes later and tells me that he's gonna let me off with a warning because I was buckled up...

Doesn't that sound shady to you? I mean, he'd been following me for a while, he had to have seen my seatbelt, and I was only like 3 miles over. Plus, he had to comment on the magnets...

I think it's BS. Just a jerkwad trooper that had to overstep his bounderies to stroke his right-wing ego...Besides, all I have back there is an "out of Iraq" ribbon, an Amnesty International sticker, and a blue thing that says, "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism' -Howard Zinn".....I so hate our soldiers....But hey, nothing like a little political persecution to make the night interesting...

I was driving downtown today, and was doing 95-100 in a 70, and a cop passed me in the opposite direction, didnt even glance twice at me.

Should've have gotten into a politcial debate with him.

how could you hate your soldiers? they fight for your country you should hate the politicians (preferably bush but you can hate them all)

plus what did you expect for the bumper stickers. halfway through your story i was expecting him to smash your lights and bring you in for not signaling.

Idk about anyone else but you can comfortably cruise at 5 over, but when you get about to 10 over is when you need to watch it...on pretty much every road..

I saw an awesome bumper sticker that said something like "Using my right's to piss off the religious right!" or something like that, except im sure it was a little different because it actually sounded cooler than that.
