Palmer Reg

Ok I have been reading quite a bit (dangerous) and just want to confirm with some of you knowledgeable people here a few things. I'll list my marker and the upgrades I have and those that are coming next week.

Marker is a 98 custom pro with cyclone feeder, 14' J&J ceramic and the typical parts that come with the custom pro drop ect. Currently or up to now I have been using Co2 but am switching to HPA. I play woods ball only.

Coming in the mail next week I have 68 ci 4500-psi HPA tank and cover, R/T trigger with adapter kit for cyclone feeder, QVE, mod parts.

Questions:

Should I definitely get a palmer Regulator even though I am switching to HPA? Which regulator specifically would you suggest with my current and future upgraded marker ? There also is a gage option is this critical to have , am suprised that its an option and not included .

Without the QEV mod and just having the cyclone and the R/T setup what ROF is achievable? I certainly don’t need full auto speed and am not looking to get nuts with it. Maybe that rate would be sufficient without the QEV mod or is it worth it  to add regardless?

Palmer makes some of the best regs out there. They won't fail you. And if
you ever wanted to use co2 again, you can.

The cyclone is able to feed about 15-17 bps without a QEV. With a QEV, you
are able to go into the low 20's. It's not a big upgrade and you won't regret
doing it.

Ok received the reg but I must need some kind of adapter as the screw in top of the reg is much larger than the braided line. Anyone know what exactly I need or have one installed ? I am assuming that it gets installed where the braided line is coming from the power tube

Also tippmann would void their warranty if I were to set it up that way. What I am doing is getting a vertical adapter and mounting the male palmer where the front grip goes.
