So I've been on a gun stand kick.  Finally got around to putting the 98 back together.  This one was alittle tougher because the balance point on the gun is so far forward.

kinda cool, though I would paint the stand so it goes along with the darker color of the marker, as it is the stand takes the attention away from the marker because of the bright color in comparison to the gun

Not too shabby.

can I steal your idea, I need to make some gun stands for an up comming event that will work for 98s. Is it just a PVC pipe glued onto a piece of wood?

There's a 2" x 2" block of wood inside the pvc that's screwed to the base.

the angle cuts are 15 degrees.

dirtbike.  I notched the pcv to accept the bottom of the receiver too.  A stone wheel on a bench grinder works good for this.

i lol'd at that.
No its kinda like a really long asa, the plug on the right side is a quick disconnect "thing" and you hook your remote or whatnot up to it allowing air to flow through, but also allowing you to have a stock.
