the ebolt is nice and all. but that is alot of air that is wasted... how about just making a large silinoid that is attacted to the bolt. you could also make it so the the silinoid IS the valve. not just something hitting a valve. would that work????

So we replace the valve with a solenoid valve? I think it would require more battery and thus causing you to carry a large battery instead. The ebolt doesnt really use that much gas anyway.

how big of a battery do you think would it have to be to run something that large?? does anyone make a large solenoid that would fit in a 98c? just to exeriment with? |

a lantern battery
and plan on adding about 6 pounds to just the back of the gun. |

yeah, you would need a good sized Battery to be able to run that for a good amount of time. it IS possible, but you would need a special battery if you would plan on fitting that much power inside the gun. or you could just add I giant block to the back on the gun lol. perhaps make a stock around it. or even do a "remote" battery setup lol, putting the battery in your pod belt. |

actually it might work in the same way the MQ works for the cocker just how would you move the front bolt back and forth?

Not really. Electronic guns are only limited by 2 things. Feed rate and the solenoid speed. |
