Catcher in the Rye is really good.

A Civil Action by Jonathan Harr is also one of my favorites.

I'm reading the "Longest Walk", right now by Stephen King. I'm hooked on it.

I've enjoyed "The Stranger" but my favorite would probaly be "Tommyknockers" by King.

I really love short stories. I had to read one for English class I wasn't expecting to really like but I did. The Bear by Faulkner. I was informed it was actually an excerpt from one of his full length novels though.

I never read Angels and Demons, but I did read Digital Fortress and Da Vinci Code.

I was very underwhelmed with the writing in both.  It was a struggle for me to finish Digital Fortress because I was groaning too much.

For that general category of novel I far prefer Nelson DeMille.  Great stuff.
