Am I the only one noticing the trend that children's cartoons are taking? There seems that nearly all of the popular 8 and under cartoons have at least one Spanish speaking character.

I see a clear hostile tactic by Mexico, slowly gaining the newest generations trust and understanding... So that when we are all old and our kids run this place, the Mexicans can just waltz right in, more so than they already are.

Do you think there are English speaking children cartoon characters in Mexico?

No.

I say American TV should have at least one highly irate Québecois character per show.
"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

-FreeEnterprise, 21 April 2011.

Yup, he actually said that.

For shame.

No.  I want the market to decide.  I believe in freedom, even when "my" side might lose.

Learning Spanish is on my list - is it on yours?

Your state is already being converted... I imagine most in Florida speak at least a little Spanish.

When they said 'The south shall rise again" methinks we should have been looking a bit further south than originally thought.

Negative, I took spanish in high school, and didn't care to carry the studies further, didn't see the need to.

Or I'm too lazy.

I haven't decided yet.

That doesn't make me a redneck Gatyr.

Yeah. There is a lot of Spanish in Florida, mostly Cuban/Dominican. I love it. I am glad a lot of my state is beginning to turn bilingual. I think the mixing of cultures is a great thing, it is what America has been built upon. I think in a few generations we will see so many more people able to speak both Spanish and English, and that will be great. Bilingual = better.

<Gatyr> way to look to much into me not putting effort into a joke
<Gatyr> and redneck may not have been the propper description for the joke

Here in northern MI, we have a mixed Great lakes/Canadian dialect.

I hate the fact that; Eh? slips into my conversations every now and again.

It says connection refused on the 2323 port. I guess the ResNet internets here got smart to my doings. Damn.
