Reg for HPA

Why buy a reg to put on your HPA tank when you already have one on your marker?

Will it really do that much, lets say I have a PMR (gun I'm looking at).

Is it really needed and really worth like another $100?  What will this reg do that the one on the gun isn't doing?

But why are there regs like this that cost so much.  Aren't the ones that come on the HPA tanks good enough?  

What would a Nitro duck or Crossfire Reg do for my HPA tank. Let's say if I already have bought a Crossfire 68/4500 tank wouldn't it come with a good Crossfire reg on it? 

Or does crossfire and nitro duck etc. make better after marker regs for their tanks?  If so what makes them better than the ones on the tank already?  Are they worth $100 more?

Well, the regs do cost that much (roughly) when you buy the tank, so the tank price includes the price of the bottle and the price of the reg. People replace them if they break irreparably or if they want something new. That one is adjustable, and some people want that feature. I know of zero new tanks that come with adjustable regs.

Crossfire makes one type of reg, but it can come in LP or HP output. If you want to switch, you have to send it to Crossfire and they will swap the regs out for you. Nitroduck makes quite a few different regs, preset and adjustable, so if the one you have (ie, an Xtream) you don't like, you can buy one like in the link.
