There are a lot of people out there who have ‘unknowingly retired’ from paintball.  You still have your equipment, probably buried in the closet somewhere, but you haven’t played for at least a year or more.  If that’s you, why have you stopped playing?

1) General attitude of the average paintball player now-a-days.

2) Prices of paint, air, equipment, and maintenance.

3) Dislike of commercial fields, how they are run and set up, the types of people who play on them.

4) Shrinking amount of land available for outlaw play due to development and threat of criminal charges.

Busy doing other stuff, no-where to play when I'm at school (well, not convieniently) and too small of a scene when I'm home. Rediculously high costs when I'm home.

Because you touch yourself at night.
"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

-FreeEnterprise, 21 April 2011.

Yup, he actually said that.

No fields within 50 miles and the group I played with rarely meets anymore.

Usually too broke.

Usually have other things to do.

....I do miss it though...

Edit: Guys, is it not possible that this could be someone from Tippmann doing research? Maybe you should try not to flame the Tippmann guy, if that turns out the case...

I'd say that's about par with my reasonings as well. But I would add 'lack of adequate time' to mine and place it high on the list.

No close fields, not many friends who play, can never find time to play with friends that do play.
