I'm against any laws against insulting any person or idea, but it's their law and they choose to enforce it.

It's still pretty ridiculous that they interpreted it as an insult and that the woman is to be punished.

1- Mohamed is the name of the Prophet not their god they refer to their god as Allah. They also consider Jesus a lesser prophet.

2- In their religion like in Cristianity Blasphemy is a serrious offence.

Now onto my opinion. I think this is just an example why the Hardcore Clerics are holding the Islamic world in the stone age. These kinds of actions go long ways to the steroetypes of Savages and other Negative Islamic influences. I see that that the Us and Westerns Islamic groups put forth condemnations but as usual no follow up action. If I was Britan I'd drop one Bomb per Lashing.

She should know the rules and follow them. Britain can buy her out of jail if they really want.
