Nice. Lose the US Army jewel though.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I will not be removing the US army plate out of respect. The weathering went well! I love that look... I got the flashlight here. I will be changing out the barrel, and adding a red dot laser. I also have an e-grip on pre-order which Tippmann will be releasing in July. I've done work to the Hopper (Vortex, lightning rod, soft paddels, and X7 piston housing) And I've installed a wicked Front bolt and Power tube... Once I get those 3 final upgrades, I'll post one last update and consider this project done! Thanks Guys! Edited by insofar - 21 May 2008 at 8:41am |

Nice looking gun. The weathering on the red dot looks a bit purposeful. It almost looks like beveling. Nice looking gun |

I love your ALPHA. I want to add a few mods to mine as well, I really like your red dot sight, and the rail...what are they and where can I get them, Also the rails added to your shroud, what are they and where can I get them? Do they require drilling?
thanks :)

Wow! Your marker looks just as good as Roost's, maybe even better.
The links were really helpful. I plan on doing somehting like this to mine. Edited by Brianwawrz - 21 May 2008 at 4:39pm |

I think the paint clashes with the weathering. Maybe if you weathered the areas that you painted too...

Already thought of that Snake, But the shroud and stock are made of composite=no weathering! It would look quite silly with just the reciever body weathered. My final idea was to only weather accessories... |

My flaslight has a weaver/picatinny rail mount. You can buy a dove-tail to weaver adapter and then mount the flashlight. You can find the adapter here. -OR- Mount a weaver quad rail onto your barrel and mount the flashlight under the barrel like mine. You can find the quad rail here. I think it would look better. IRL your composite materials don't weather. |

IRL a mag is made of metal... not so much on an alpha black. Again... It would just look silly... Edited by insofar - 21 May 2008 at 11:06pm |

True, I forgot about that. I would hit up EE. If I remember right he modded a M16 30 rd magazine onto his alpha, ask him how he did it. |
