That Bush's approval were tanked, current trends show Obama and Dem lead Congress are lower than any 1st recorede year of a Presidential Admin, with the bowl just now starting to swire faster.

Now add the potential of the Bush Tax Cuts not being renewed, higher taxes for any healthcare reform plan (so from 2010-2013 when plan takes effect you are essentially paying for both systems)and any wacko enviroment taxes that the tree hugging crowd decide we need to pay the numbers will continue to fall. "Change we can Believe in" for sure, we will be worse off financially than any evil contrived Bush planning could of concieved of.

Remmember 'Hoovervilles' in the 30's now we have....

I don't see how those are bad things.

Support for healthcare and the environment? I'd welcome higher taxes if my money were going towards those things.

I'll just take the leftist stance like several prominant leftist/liberals stated in 2004 if Bush was elected. I'll promise to leave but stay anyway. 2010 can not come fast enough to get rid of Nazi Pelosi and crew. We will see how dedicated Dems are to the cause when the HC vote is delayed til July/August and thier careers are on the line in the 2010 elections.

So you are stating the Nancy Pelosi is not an 'authoritarian' who does not take desent or critisizum well? Last I checked she is totally 'authoritarian' in the way she runs the house. Lets see, Ed Shultz, Mike Church, Andrew Wilkow, and other both right and left in 'talk radio' have refered to her as 'Nazi Pelosi' in the way she handles any opposition to her agenda in the house.

And why when Republicans held all three it was a threat to the American Way, and an affront to the established 'checks and balances' and now that the Dems hold all three it is 'never mind'?

BTW this forum comes under 'recreational thought' and the 'serious' level percieved is not a constant.
