Okay, I've stated more than a few times on here how great Tippmann customer service is.  I now have another story to back up these statements.

I was in the midst of downsizing my collection of paintball markers* and one of the markers on the list was my unmodified A5 (serial number 000372).  I finally decided to keep the A5; mainly because I've had it forever, it's always been reliable and my son still has the one with the next serial number.**

With this decision made, I nosed around my favorite paintball shop until I found an old original series A5 response trigger still new in the box.  Once installed, I started having feeding issues.

When I gave Tippmann a call and explained the problem they sent out a new base plate, spring and ratchet for the Cyclone free of charge, no questions asked.  (Should be here in 3-5 days.)  They also said to call back if these parts didn't fix the issue.

So . . . Tippmann customer service is still the best.

*The TM-7 went and the Tiberius 9 is on consignment at the local shop.  (I liked the Tib, but it doesn't suit my style and the Q-Loader mod I was working on ended up being unsatisfactory.)
**Yeah, I know; silly and sentimental.  So sue me.

I was amazed when they sent me a new board for a used A5 that I bought with a broken switch.

Sorry to hear you are downsizing your collection. Out of curiosity, how did you like the TM7? One of the guys on the team I run with just bought a TM15. God that looks like anwieldly beast.

^^^ I didn't like it.  It's so light that it felt awkward both with the tank on gun and on remote line.  The extendable stock felt flimsy and I always worried about breaking it.  I can't stand safety full auto* and the trigger isn't sensitive enough to fire as fast in semi as I can get with the 'Cocker.

*I assumed that I would just replace the board when a new one came out but I disliked the marker so much I decided to just get rid of it instead.

I'm amazed by the fact, of how little I have to call Tippmann Customer service. I even have an unstamped cyclone, and the old style ratchet, it was never an issue for me. I got an early release too.

I have never had to call them thus far and I have had my A-5 for about 9ish years.
It sucks being antisocial alone.
