How the hell do you get a stain out of a silk tie?
I got some sauce on it and I don't want to machine wash it. So far after a google search people are just saying "you don't". Anyone got any ideas?

Rubbing alcohol works pretty well. Just dab it on the stain and use a dry towel to soak it up then repeat several times. Use a hair dryer to fully dry the tie when you're done.

As a bonus, after doing this if you're ever in a survival situation while wearing the tie you can suck the sauce out of it for sustenance. |
